She made her debut as a lead actress in Priyadarshan's horror film ‘Geethaanjali’. Her first film release was A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy ‘Idhu Enna Maayam’ (2015). She later went on to act in blockbuster films such as Rajinimurugan, Remo, Bairavaa, Nenu Local and a few more.

She has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Awards South. Keerthy was placed in Forbes India's ‘30 Under 30’ list of 2021.

In 2022, Keerthy went on to appear alongside director Selvaraghavan in Saani Kaayidham, her role was critically acclaimed and she gained a separate fan base for her performance. Her next film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, opposite Super Star Mahesh Babu, was a commercial success. She was next seen in the Malayalam courtroom drama Vaashi opposite Tovino Thomas.

In 2023, her first release of the year ‘Dasara’, opposite Nani, was a blockbuster and got positive reviews from critics & audiences alike. Her second release of the year was ‘Maamannan’, opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin. The movie was declared a hit and got a good response from the audience.

Her next set of films include her Bollywood Debut with Varun Dhawan starrer 'Baby John', ‘Revolver Rita’ with The Route, 'Raghu Thatha', 'Kannivedi' and an untitled web-series with YRF.

Keerthy Suresh has worked extensively in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She will now enthral the nation as a powerful woman in a Tamil film Raghu Thatha by Hombale Films. She is also roped into a new woman centric film Revolver Rita which is coming to Netflix as a post- theatrical release.
